Paper Description
Ko te reo Māori anahe te reo e rumakina ana ki ngā whakaakoranga o tēnei pepa. Ko te whāinga matua o tēnei akoranga, ko te reo Māori tonu. He mea whakarite te pepa MAORI206 nei hei kaupapa tautoko (mā te ipurangi) i ngā pepa reo matua o Te Tohu Paetahi ki tēnei taumata ako, arā, ki te taumata 200. Ka whakaakona ngātahitia tēnei me ngā pepa MAORI211 & MAORI212 hei whakapakari i ō te tauira pūkenga ki te kōrero, kia whanake hoki te taha pānui, te taha tuhituhi me tōna āhei ki te patopato whakaaro i roto tonu i te reo. Kia oti rā anō tēnei akoranga i te tauira te mahi, ka taea e ia te whakawhitiwhiti kōrero i te nui o ngā horopaki me te mārama anō ki ngā tūmomo rēhita reo hei whakamahi māna. Waihoki, he akoranga tēnei hei whakapakari i te mārama o te tauira ki te wetewete i ngā whakatakotoranga kōrero.
Paper Structure
Ko te hanganga o tēnei pepa ipurangi nei, e hāngai ana ki te wātaka ako o ngā pepa: MAORI211 & MAORI212. Kei te whāia ngā kaupapa ako me ngā kai o roto i ngā whakaakoranga reo o Te Tohu Paetahi. I roto i te pepa nei, ka aromatawaihia, ka whakaūngia, ka taunaki hokitia ngā rerenga hōu me ngā kupu hōu e whāngaihia ana ki Te Tohu Paetahi. Katoa ēnei hei whakamahinga mā te tauira kia whai horopaki ki roto i te taumahi: Hopukanga Kōrero. Me mau i te tauira ēnei whakaakoranga kia āhei ai ia ki te whakatutuki i ngā Kairoro e rua, kia rite hoki mō te Whakamātautau Whakamutunga. Ko te tino whāinga ko te whakapakari i ngā pūkenga reo Māori o te tauira, arā, ko ngā pūkenga pānui, tuhituhi, patopato, rangahau anō hoki. Ahakoa he pepa ipurangi tēnei, e tika ana kia whakapau ō koutou kaha ki te whakatutuki i ngā mahi/aromatawai kei mua i ō koutou aroaro. Me whakapau hāora atu anō: Despite the fact that this is an online paper, students are encouraged to study every night for at least two hours (where possible).
- Titiro ki ngā mahi whakaū me ngā ngohe ako kīhai i oti i te akomanga. Complete consolidation tasks not completed in class.
- Rangahaua ngā kaupapa mō te Hopukanga Kōrero. Research topics, constructions and new words for oral assessments.
- Hei whakahahaki, me hoki whakamuri ki te titiro ki ngā mahi kua tirohia kētia (kia rite mō te whakamātautau me ngā kairoro e rua). Revise and practice all new sentence constructions and lessons covered in lectures.
- Āta pānui i ngā kōrero kua puta mai i te kauhau. Read, learn and revise any material brought up in lectures.
- Me ako i ngā kupu hou. Learn new words.
- Āta whakariterite, me āta whakaū i ngā akoranga kia rite ai mō ngā aromatawai katoa. Study and consolidate in preparation for paper assessments.
